1. MISSION OF LIFE STREAM CHURCH: User agrees that it will not use the premises for any purpose that is contrary to the mission, purpose, or belief of Life Stream (Owner), which is a biblically-based religious institution. This includes posting signage for any political reasons or any matter that goes against the mission, purpose, or belief of the Owner.
2. FOR-PROFIT USE: For-profit events are not allowed at Life Stream Church.
3. CUSTODIAL FEES: One (1) hour of custodial time is included in the rental (including set-up and take-down). Additional custodial hours will be billed at $20.00/hour per custodian.
4. DOORS: Our building has automatic door locks. The doors will be unlocked at the agreed-upon start time of the event and will re-lock at the agreed-upon end time. Propping doors open is not permitted.
5. FURNISHINGS: No church-owned furnishings or equipment may be removed from the building. No tents or other outside structures are allowed without approval from the Events and Facility Coordinator. Special use of sound and lights must be approved.
6. ROOM CHANGES: You may change a room set-up for your needs. However, the room must be returned to the original set-up. Special room set-ups must be arranged with the Events and Facility Coordinator at least one week in advance of the gathering. If the set-up for your event requires tables and chairs to be significantly changed, $25 will be added to the overall cost of rental.
7. DECORATIONS: Time for decorating must be included in the reservation request. Banners, tables, decorations, floral arrangements, etc. for regular Life Stream programs have priority and may not be taken down. No trees, greenery, or other decorations may be moved or used without permission. Putty or hanging devices that are not permanent and do not cause damage may be used if prior arrangements are made with the Events and Facility Coordinator. Tacks, nails, or tape may not be used. All decorations and hanging devices must be removed immediately after the event.
8. SCREEN USAGE FOR SONGS: Screen usage for songs is subject to the availability of the operator (please check with the church office). If an operator is available, a one-week lead time is needed to prepare the screens.
9. TABLEWARE: Please remember that the plates, napkins, tableware, etc. that are stored in the building are specifically for use for Life Stream ministries. You must provide your own items.
10. FOOD: All food must be removed immediately following the event, including items in the refrigerator or freezer.
11. CLEAN-UP: Each group is responsible for cleaning up paper, cups, and other materials and disposing of their trash in the dumpster (door K). All used surfaces must be wiped down after the completion of the event. Each group is responsible for preparing for use and returning to the pre-use condition all areas of the premises which the group will use, including entrances and exits.
12. ADDITIONAL RULES: - No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the church building or on the church premises. - No smoking within 25 feet of the church building. - No red punch. - No raffles. -No glitter/confetti
